An Australian strawberry is a premium temperate berry grown across diverse microclimates in Australia, celebrated for its bright red color, firm texture, and balanced sweet-tart flavor profile.

Physical Appearance

Fruit: Heart-shaped or conical aggregate fruit with vibrant, glossy red skin studded with tiny, pale achenes (seeds) on the surface. The interior flesh is juicy, pale pink to deep red, with a fragrant, sweet, and mildly acidic flavor.

Foliage and Flowers: Features low-growing, trifoliate (three-parted) dark green leaves with serrated edges and small, white, five-petaled flowers with yellow centers.

Growth Habit: A low-growing herbaceous perennial plant that forms compact rosettes 6 to 12 inches tall, spreading outward by producing long horizontal runners (stolons) that root at the nodes.

Habitat and Growth

Origin: Native to temperate zones of the Americas (hybrid origins), but extensively developed and cultivated across major growing regions in Australia, including Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia, and South Australia.

Climate: Highly versatile, growing in cool temperate to subtropical regions depending on the variety, requiring full sunlight and careful moisture management.

Soil: Thrives in rich, fertile, well-draining sandy loam or raised beds with high organic matter and a slightly acidic pH (5.5–6.5).

Uses

Culinary: Eaten fresh out-of-hand as a luxury table fruit, tossed into salads, layered into desserts like pavlova and cakes, blended into smoothies, or cooked into jam and preserves.

Order cancellation & reschedule delivery

Any cancellation of order or reschedule delivery shall be made before 6pm from the same day of placement of your order ("Grace Period") by contacting our customer service officer at veggies.my@gmail.com or our hotline: 016-6505535. Any request for cancellation made or reschedule delivery after the Grace Period will not be entertained.

We reserve the absolute discretion to approve or reject your request for cancellation or reschedule delivery. For any cancellation of your order, you shall be responsible for the payment of an administrative charge, which shall be determined by us prior to your cancellation. Notwithstanding anything stated to the contrary, no cancellation or reschedule delivery will be entertained once your orders have been shipped to your shipping address.
