Enoki Mushroom 100G

Enoki Mushroom (Flammulina velutipes, also known as Golden Needle or Lily Mushroom) is a popular East Asian mushroom, famous for its long, needle-like stems, tiny convex caps, and signature crisp, thread-like crunch.

Physical Characteristics

• Size: Vacuum-sealed in a compact 100g bundle of tightly packed, thread-like strands.

• Caps & Stems: Long, ultra-slender white stems topped with tiny, velvety, globe-like white caps growing in a dense cluster.

• Texture: Remarkably firm, crisp, and thread-like with a fun, squeaky crunch when bitten.

Taste and Culinary Uses

• Flavor: Mild, clean, and subtly sweet with a delicate fruity or nutty undertone, absorbing rich broths and sauces rapidly.

• Culinary Applications: An essential ingredient in hot pots (steamboat), sukiyaki, ramen, miso soups, garlic foil bakes, and cold spicy salads.

• Preparation Methods: Slice off the bottom 1 to 2 inches of the root base while still in the bag, gently separate into small strands, and cook thoroughly—simmer in hot broths, pan-fry wrapped in sliced beef or bacon, or sauté with spicy chili garlic oil.

Growth and Origin

• Native Habitat: Native to East Asia, where wild varieties grow on the trunks of Enoki (Chinese hackberry) and other broadleaf trees in cool autumn/winter climates.

• Cultivation: Cultivated indoors in total darkness under carbon-dioxide-rich conditions to encourage long, slender white stems and tiny caps. Harvested at precise maturity without synthetic pesticides or chemicals.

Any request for cancellation made or reschedule delivery after the Grace Period will not be entertained.

We reserve the absolute discretion to approve or reject your request for cancellation or reschedule delivery. For any cancellation of your order, you shall be responsible for the payment of an administrative charge, which shall be determined by us prior to your cancellation. Notwithstanding anything stated to the contrary, no cancellation or reschedule delivery will be entertained once your orders have been shipped to your shipping address.
