Shiitake Mushroom (Lentinula edodes) is an iconic, highly prized culinary fungus, celebrated for its rich umbrella-like caps, firm texture, and deeply savory, woodsy umami depth.

Physical Characteristics

• Size: Packaged in a fresh 200g portion pack featuring whole, intact mushrooms.

• Caps & Stems: Broad, convex dark-tan to chocolate-brown caps with light velvet specks or cracks along the edges, supported by tough, pale cream-colored central stems.

• Gills: Fine, tightly packed off-white to pale tan gills running underneath the cap.

• Texture: Dense, meaty, and velvety with a substantial, chew-yielding bite that retains its structure through high-heat cooking.

Taste and Culinary Uses

• Flavor: Intensely savory, smoky, and earthy with a profound natural umami complexity.

Any request for cancellation made or reschedule delivery after the Grace Period will not be entertained.

We reserve the absolute discretion to approve or reject your request for cancellation or reschedule delivery. For any cancellation of your order, you shall be responsible for the payment of an administrative charge, which shall be determined by us prior to your cancellation. Notwithstanding anything stated to the contrary, no cancellation or reschedule delivery will be entertained once your orders have been shipped to your shipping address.
