Plant: Features long, erect, pentagonal or cylindrical green pods with a tapered tip, growing on sturdy, erect semi-woody stalks with broad, lobed leaves and prominent hibiscus-like yellow flowers with dark red centers.

Pods and Seeds: The outer pod skin is bright emerald-to-jade green, slightly fuzzy or smooth with distinct longitudinal ridges, housing a central core filled with soft, round, white edible seeds embedded in a clear viscous gel.

Origin: Native to tropical East Africa and South Asia, now extensively cultivated throughout tropical, sub-tropical, and warm temperate regions worldwide.

Climate: Thrives in hot, sunny tropical lowlands (25°C to 35°C); highly tolerant of heat and humidity, but growth slows significantly in cooler temperatures.

Soil: Prefers rich, deep, well-draining sandy loam or loamy soil with abundant organic matter and a neutral to slightly acidic pH (6.0–6.8), requiring full sun exposure for heavy fruiting.

Culinary: A versatile staple in Southeast Asian and South Asian cuisines; famously steamed or blanched and served with Sambal Belacan, cooked in sour fish curry (Asam Pedas), stuffed with spice paste (Yong Tau Foo or Bharwan Bhindi), or stir-fried with garlic and dried shrimp.

Step 2: Customer places order in our website.
Step 3: Payment via payment gateway (Fiuu). Once successful, go to step 4.
Step 4: Warehouse receives order and items picked, packed & delivered to customer.
Step 5: Customer’s order fulfilled.
Order cancellation & reschedule delivery
Any cancellation of order or reschedule delivery shall be made before 6pm from the same day of placement of your order ("Grace Period") by contacting our customer service officer at veggies.my@gmail.com or our hotline: 016-6505535. Any request for cancellation made or reschedule delivery after the Grace Period will not be entertained.
We reserve the absolute discretion to approve or reject your request for cancellation or reschedule delivery. For any cancellation of your order, you shall be responsible for the payment of an administrative charge, which shall be determined by us prior to your cancellation. Notwithstanding anything stated to the contrary, no cancellation or reschedule delivery will be entertained once your orders have been shipped to your shipping address.
