Physical Appearance

Plant: Features long, slender, upright cylindrical stems that transition from a firm, blanched white-to-light-green root bulb to vibrant, hollow green tops.
Foliage and Stems: The white lower stalk is dense, juicy, and mildly pungent, while the upper tubular leaves are smooth, pliable, bright green, and intensely fresh in aroma.
Growth Habit: A fast-growing perennial allium typically cultivated as an annual or biennial crop, reaching heights of 12 to 20 inches and forming tight clumps harvested 50 to 70 days after planting.

Habitat and Growth

Origin: Native to East Asia (China and Siberia), now cultivated globally as a fundamental fresh herb across tropical, sub-tropical, and temperate agricultural regions.
Climate: Highly adaptable; thrives in sunny, mild-to-warm tropical and sub-tropical environments with consistent light and high atmospheric humidity.
Soil: Prefers rich, fertile, loose, well-draining loamy or sandy soil rich in organic matter (pH 6.0–7.0) with regular irrigation to keep the stalks tender and crisp.

How to Use
Wash the spring onions thoroughly under clean running water and trim the roots and any damaged leaves. Slice the green stalks and white bulbs according to your recipe. Spring onions can be stir-fried with meat or vegetables, added to soups and noodles, mixed into omelettes, or sprinkled over rice and other dishes as a garnish. They can also be sliced and added raw to salads for a mild onion flavour.

Order cancellation & reschedule delivery

Any request for cancellation made or reschedule delivery after the Grace Period will not be entertained.

For any cancellation of your order, you shall be responsible for the payment of an administrative charge, which shall be determined by us prior to your cancellation. Notwithstanding anything stated to the contrary, no cancellation or reschedule delivery will be entertained once your orders have been shipped to your shipping address.
