Physical Appearance

Plant: Features a large, compact central crown composed of tightly clustered, tree-like dark green florets anchored to a thick, succulent main trunk.
Foliage and Stems: The florets are deep emerald green with tiny closed flower buds, while the central stalk and branching stems are sturdy, pale jade-green, crisp, and fully edible when peeled.
Growth Habit: An upright, cool-season annual brassica that grows 18 to 30 inches tall, developing a prominent main head harvested after 60 to 90 days, often followed by smaller side-shoot florets.

Habitat and Growth

Origin: Native to the Mediterranean region, widely cultivated globally across temperate agricultural zones and tropical highland valleys.
Climate: Thrives in cool, temperate microclimates (15°C to 20°C) or highland tropical growing areas (such as Cameron Highlands); sensitive to prolonged extreme lowland heat, which causes florets to loosen and flower prematurely.
Soil: Prefers rich, deep, well-draining loamy soil with abundant organic matter and a slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0–6.8), requiring consistent soil moisture for dense crown development.

How to Use
Cut the broccoli into florets and trim the stalk as needed. Rinse thoroughly under clean running water before cooking. Broccoli can be steamed or boiled as a side dish, stir-fried with garlic and other ingredients, roasted in the oven, or added to soups, noodles and salads. The stalk is also edible and can be sliced into smaller pieces for cooking.

Nutritional Benefits
Broccoli provides dietary fibre, vitamin C, vitamin K, folate and vitamin A precursors, along with potassium. It also contains glucosinolates, natural plant compounds found in cruciferous vegetables. Broccoli can be a nutritious addition to a balanced diet.

How to Store
Keep fresh broccoli refrigerated until ready to use. Store according to the packaging instructions and avoid washing it until you are ready to prepare it. Use as soon as possible while the florets remain firm and fresh.

Order cancellation & reschedule delivery

Any request for cancellation made or reschedule delivery after the Grace Period will not be entertained.

For any cancellation of your order, you shall be responsible for the payment of an administrative charge, which shall be determined by us prior to your cancellation. Notwithstanding anything stated to the contrary, no cancellation or reschedule delivery will be entertained once your orders have been shipped to your shipping address.
