Malabar spinach 250G

Fresh Malabar Spinach (Remayong) is a heat-loving, climbing vine green, widely prized across Southeast Asia for its thick, succulent leaves and distinctive smooth texture.

Physical Characteristics

• Size: Grows 6 to 10 inches (15 to 25 cm) long in bunches with thick, fleshy trailing stems.

• Stem: Plump, cylindrical, and pale green (or purplish-red in red varieties), highly succulent and water-retentive.

• Leaves: Thick, heart-shaped, glossy dark green leaves with a smooth, leathery surface.

• Texture: Uniquely mucilaginous and smooth—crisp and juicy when raw or quick-cooked, becoming velvety soft as it cooks down.

Taste and Culinary Uses

• Flavor: Mild, slightly sweet, and peppery with a clean, earthy green taste similar to Swiss chard.

• Culinary Applications: A staple in traditional soups, curries, and stir-fries, where its natural thickness acts as a gentle, rich thickener for broths and sauces.

• Cooking Methods: Excellent when quick-simmered in clear broths, stir-fried with garlic, anchovies, or belacan, or folded into rich coconut curries and dal right before serving.

Any request for cancellation made or reschedule delivery after the Grace Period will not be entertained.

We reserve the absolute discretion to approve or reject your request for cancellation or reschedule delivery. For any cancellation of your order, you shall be responsible for the payment of an administrative charge, which shall be determined by us prior to your cancellation. Notwithstanding anything stated to the contrary, no cancellation or reschedule delivery will be entertained once your orders have been shipped to your shipping address.
